Color Tahitian pearls are known for their iridescent, vibrant, almost metallic colors. They have body colors such as black, grey, silver, green, and blue with an endless amount of overtones.
Size The size of Tahitian pearls range from 8 – 18 millimeters (average size is 9-10mm), but there are some extremes. The largest Tahitian ever found was 25 millimeters!
