The ever changing world of pearls

Japanese pearl dealers are now Tahitian and South Sea Pearl dealers the Japanese have always been involved with peal culturing in far away locations  but the most curious was a Japanese pearl dealer in a single booth with the most fantastic collection of 12-14 mm Freshwater pearls I have ever seen at prices that made south sea seem cheap.
