Pearl Rings: Select Your Pearl Type.
There is a lot to consider in picking a pearl ring.
One major factor to consider is what metal. Gold & Pearl rings offer luxury, but cost more. Sterling Silver & Pearl Rings are more affordable and offer the gleaming-white shine of Sterling Silver.
Another factor is whether you prefer a diamond and pearl ring. Diamonds add fire and sparkle to pearl rings, but also carry a price tag. Alternately, you can choose less costly white stones such as white topaz or white sapphire to accent your pearl ring.
Another decision is which type of pearl. In this case, it's not simply whether you want a freshwater, akoya or tahitian pearl ring, it's also the shape. Because full-round pearls naturally sit "high" on top of a ring, many prefer to seek a mabe or 'button' pearl for a lower profile.
In any case, whatever you choose, you'll end up with a true 'gift of the sea' adorning your finger. Enjoy!
